Every week, ILQ features a different Qatari startup in our ‘Startup of the Week’ segment. Qatar has some of the most creative, unique, and impactful startups in the region, and we cover them all across a variety of industries in Doha, from fashion and beauty to food and dining, health, education, and more!
This week, we're featuring a new startup, The Real Estate CRM. It's one of the fastest rising cloud-based property management in the market today. The main objective of the company is to help real estate companies and property owners maintain and manage their tenants. It includes rental management, document management, and incident management.
By using the CRM programme, users will find it much easier to achieve effective management of their property rentals. It is a complete suite that helps take care of a wide array of property management aspects, including but not limited to, managing tenants, requesting rental payments, accepting rentals online, incident management, e-Documentation, and supports improving the clients’ chances of making property sales and rental.
Behind the success of every business is a person who sees everything differently. His visions of the business exceed the limitations of what the mind can achieve. For The Real Estate CRM Founder, Saad Ahmed Sharif, his company is relevant to Qataris aspiring for the long-term stability of their real estate businesses.
According to Saad:
“Property management in Qatar is largely an offline segment. We are streamlining this segment here in Qatar by providing a smart platform to enhance their operations and increase tenant retention rates.”
Saad has been a programmer for over a decade now. He started as an IT service provider in 2014. He has been a Microsoft community leader and speaker from 2010 until 2014. He also has a wide range of experience in application management from diverse industries including oil and gas, banking, retail, and education. That is why creating this company was a dream come true for him:
“In 2017, when we started, our product was an online rental payment platform that helped cross border rental payments. This product has grown further into a whole suite of property management which is now called The Real Estate CRM. We are currently incubated at Digital Incubation Center and have been operational since January 2019 in Qatar."
When asked about what separates them apart from other businesses with a similar concept, Saad answers,
“There are companies that provide selective features of what we do. Our product, The Real Estate CRM is a platform that offers end-to-end solutions with regards to property management. Be it communicating with your tenants, sending them greetings during special occasions, reaching out to potential tenants, generating automated rental receipts and much more.”
The Real Estate CRM values its clients so much that they only offer the best features to manage their every need. When it comes to property sales, clients get features such as:
CRM’s smart lead management utility improves the user’s ability to manage and sort leads. It helps take away the manual part from your responsibilities, as it sorts leads out based on their category. This sorting capability means easier access to address and examine leads to knowing how well the marketing campaign of the company is performing. It also helps with reviewing strategy performance, targeting and serving as a roadmap for future campaigns
The CRM package will make it easy for users to send bulk messages or e-mail alerts to potential leads. Users can customise these messages to send at a particular date and also set the frequency of message dispatches.
In addition to that, the automation feature allows users to set custom responses to messages from leads, and this will definitely go a long way in boosting the ability to engage customers and close deals.
With the CRM, users get to create roles (such as telecallers, agents and executives) and assign tasks and responsibilities. Also, since most of these roles will have permissions and boundaries, users can set it up and keep track of the activities of these roles while moving forward. Changes can easily be made to the roles, job descriptions and permissions depending on your needs.
Schedule management helps ensure users will be able to optimise schedules and activities, and it will definitely go a long way in boosting the general productivity of the company.
The users also get to keep track of their property management projects from wherever they are. Real Estate CRM provides real-time updates and ensures that users are always in the loop whenever a new development occurs.
Although it's a desktop-based platform, Real Estate CRM is also effective and seamless on the mobile platform. This improves the ability to make use of it on the go and ensures faster changes whenever you need it.
It doesn’t matter what kind of property users are dealing with, as long as the company is ready to make the sale, the Real Estate CRM tool is the most effective partner.
With this feature, it is possible for users to have messages sent to international numbers. Rates might apply, but the ability to connect with international numbers means that users get to reach a market that is much wider than they can imagine. As long as they got the numbers, rest assured that The Real Estate CRM will be able to reach them and make business.
The Real Estate CRM was incubated at the Digital Incubation Center (DIC) that has helped the company immensely in understanding and penetrating the Qatari market. Localisation of the service has been the major concern of CRM, and DIC has been instrumental in achieving this.
Real estate is crucial to Qatar's economy and CRM is one step ahead in digitising the whole process which in turn helps companies to scale up their operations, provide more and better services, make use of analytics from the company’s platform and make better decisions. This whole process will bring about better results and could contribute to Qatar’s economy.
Asked what advice he can give to young Qatari entrepreneurs in establishing startups of their own, Saad replies:
“Persistence is the key. Qatar's entrepreneurial ecosystem is going through a phenomenal change, if you are in the planning phase now, it is the best time to convert it into action”.
