Her Royal Highness (HRH) Princess Beatrice, the Honourary President of Art and Culture Without Borders, praised the remarkable progress achieved by Qatari businesswomen in terms of creative ideas and successful businesses.
Princess Beatrice also stressed the importance of cooperation between the Qatari and Spanish private sectors in many fields, and joint activities held in Doha and Madrid, noting that Qatar has become an important destination for fashion and art events.
This came during a meeting held today between Qatar Chamber board member Ibtihaj Al Ahmadani and HRH Princess Beatrice, in the presence of Her Excellency Ambassador of the Kingdom of Spain to Qatar Belen Alfaro.
The meeting touched on trade and economic ties between both countries and preparation for holding fashion events as well as joint projects for businesswomen of both countries.
Al Ahmadani highlighted the efforts exerted by Qatar to provide education to Qatari women and create the climate for their presence into all fields, as well as issuing legislations and laws that protect the rights of women and support their excellence at all levels and in all fields.
Al Ahmadani noted successful models for Qatari women regionally and globally, stressing that the Qatari businesswoman has proven her ability to manage and excel in the business community, and that the Qatari market includes many distinctive brands established by Qatari women.
Al Ahmadani called for boosting cooperation with the Spanish private sector and holding joint activities that bring the two sides together to discuss partnerships and establish joint actions that support the economy of the two friendly countries.
