Ramadan banyan tree alula

Ramadan is the perfect time to reflect on the past and renew the spirit. There is nowhere more peaceful and beautiful than the Ashar Valley in AlUla. This awe-inspiring destination provides stillness and calmness to bring guests back to what truly matters and is in close proximity to the holy site of Al Madinah Al Munawwarah. To welcome the Holy Month, Banyan Tree AlUla is inviting guests to experience a serene desert retreat with mindful practices, as well as delicious iftars to break the fast.

The all-villa resort is set in one of the world’s most mysterious and exciting destinations with a combination of newly discovered heritage, culture, and fine dining in the heart of the breathtaking desert, whose history dates back to the ancient Nabataean era.

Banyan Tree AlUla’s stunning tented villas perfectly blend within the resort’s unique surroundings amid the mesmerising rock formations. The one, two, and three-bedroom villas feature high canopied ceilings and are lavishly decorated with authentic, Arabian-inspired handicrafts. To enhance relaxation, guests can make themselves at home by lazing on the expansive patio with panoramic views of the Ashar Valley, with most villas featuring a private swimming pool.

A sanctuary for the senses, the Banyan Tree Spa is a place for physical, mental, and spiritual renewal, offering a holistic approach based on traditional Asian healing therapies. The spa offers sound healing, meditation, and sunset yoga classes, to name a few, where guests can relax and renew their spirits in the heart of the Ashar Valley.

As the sun sets, guests can enjoy a delicious iftar at Harrat, which brings a taste of all things local, from cuisine to arts and crafts, Harrat is a multi-sensory experience. The Iftar menu is full of regional favourites, from hot and cold mezze to shawarma, mandi and mixed grills, while international options, including Thai-inspired dishes, will also be available. A dessert trolley offering the finest of pastries will end the evening on a sweet note. Iftar at Harrat is available daily from sunset – 8 pm, priced at SAR 450 per person

For those looking to enjoy a Suhoor experience, Harrat will offer an a la carte menu with a selection of regional light bites, locally inspired mains, and desserts. Suhoor at Harrat is available from 11:30 pm – 3 am on weekdays and 11:30 pm – 5 am on weekends.

For those looking for a getaway, the resort’s elevated Ramadan Staycation includes a 60-minute spa treatment per person per night (or choice of a spa product for a value of SAR 800 per person), in-villa suhoor, iftar in Harrat, as well as yoga and group meditation classes.
