Ramadan katara towers fairmont raffles 2023

Nestled in the Arabian Gulf, Doha’s most iconic architectural masterpiece, Katara Towers, will launch its inaugural Ramadan festivities this coming Holy Month.

Home to both Raffles Doha and Fairmont Doha, the property hosts some of the city's most luxurious hotels, dining, and entertainment venues. Designed with the emblematic Qatari heritage of the crossing swords, Katara Towers, in the picturesque Lusail Marina, the towers represent the timelessness of heritage combined with the country's forward-thinking ethos of progress.

Ramadan will be no exception; the two concepts seamlessly intertwined in the carefully curated experiences offered across the property. For those looking for a getaway or staycation, Fairmont Doha and Raffles Doha are offering elevated Ramadan Staycations, which include a complimentary upgrade to the next room category, as well as iftar or sohour for two. Fairmont Doha’s Ramadan Staycation starts from QR 1,200, and Raffles Doha’s starts from QR 3,000.

Quintessential favourites give guests the chance to taste memories of special times while making new memories in this unique destination. To savour the cooler climes, Ramadan will be enjoyed across the expansive Raffles and Fairmont Garden, stretching from one side of the property to the other between both of the luxury hotels’ pools. Guests can soak up the sea views and ocean breeze in the lively setting, which will feature live stations from both Raffles and Fairmont with light oud entertainment during Sohour at Raffles and Fairmont Garden, to bring the joy of Ramadan to life. For intimate and exclusive gatherings, the Fairmont Ballroom offers a bespoke experience with the glamour and privacy of the hotel's decadent event space.

With regional cuisine at the heart of the offerings, there are a wide array of 'Arabesque' stations. Among them are the hot mezze and saj stations, while at the carving station, the piece de resistance awaits, the seasonal ouzi, the popular lamb dish cooked just like home. Live stations will showcase the unique cuisine offered at both hotels from each restaurant, with Indian from Masala Library, Italian from Alba by Enrico Crippa, Latin American from Vaya, Asian from Provok, and international dishes from L’Artisan, a fitting tribute to the diverse nature of Doha.

But they say, 'save the best 'til last', and this is no less the case for sweet lovers as dessert takes centre stage. Traditional Arabic desserts will ensure the flavours of Ramadan abound, with the likes of Umm Ali and Kunafa paving the way for the grande finale.

Families will love the range of activities set up for the little guests to enjoy Ramadan catered specially for them. For those wishing to stay up later and enjoy the company of others, a daily sohour will be available from 9:30 pm to 2 am.

For those who prefer to dine in the comfort of their home, a ready-made iftar or sohour is available for takeaway, as well as a selection of sweet treats, to celebrate the Holy Month. The Ramadan Delight Box is priced at QAR 950 for four people.

Iftar and sohour are both priced at QAR 300 per person and QAR 150 for children aged 6 – 12 years old, with iftar available from sunset to 8:30 pm and sohour from 9:30 pm to 2 am. For more information or to make a reservation, please contact [email protected] or call +974 4030 7200.
