Qatar pavilion, participating in the activities of the 14th edition of the International Show of Agriculture, Agricultural Machinery and Fishing (SIAMAP 2019) in Tunisia, witnessed huge turnout from the visitors of the show, as it contains distinctive products of national companies.

Visitors to the pavilion expressed their admiration for the Qatari products, and the high quality achieved despite the conditions of the unjust blockade, and expressed their fascination with the success of Qatar in achieving self-sufficiency in the production of milk and poultry, in record time, and the transition from import before the blockade to self-sufficiency.

Visitors praised the cultural and urban section within Qatar pavilion and the pavilion of the World Cup and the achievements of the eight stadiums that will host the 2022 World Cup matches in Qatar, in addition to Qatar Rail project as it is a qualitative leap for transportation in the State of Qatar.

Among the visitors of the pavilion was President of Ennahdha Party Rached Ghannouchi, where he reviewed the participation of Qatari agricultural companies in the show and learned more about their agricultural products. Many Tunisian schools were keen to visit Qatar pavilion, to learn about agricultural activities, cultural events, handicrafts, and traditional clothes.

As part of the activities of the show the Director of Food Security Department at the Ministry of Municipality and Environment, Masoud Jarallah Al Marri attended the panel discussion on promoting the Tunisian-Qatari partnership in the agricultural field.

The State of Qatar is participating in this exhibition with a distinctive and spacious pavilion on an area of 700 square meters.
