Qatar Museums (QM), in preparation for the International Horticultural Exhibition (EXPO 2023), has launched an open call inviting food & beverage operators for the fit-out and management of an F&B outlet at the EXPO building, which will be located near the Fire Station, Doha's leading contemporary art space and host to artist and curatorial residencies. It is expected to be ready and operational by 2nd October 2023 until 28th March 2024.
The F&B operators must be able to provide comprehensive concept and business proposals which include a detailed business plan, food/service concept presentation, and interior and terrace design presentation, along with their background and credentials.
A detailed presentation of the food concept should identify the proposed type of cuisine which meets international standards.
Design & fit-out for the outlet include full MEP works, fire fighting system, CCTV/speakers and ICT works, HVAC (plumbing, water supply & sewerage), interior design & installation, terrace design & installation, kitchen design & installation, new kitchen equipment, new furniture/fixture & equipment suitable for the concept, new operating supplies & equipment along with other aesthetic requirements and approvals relevant to the project including Qatar Civil Defense Department (QCDD) permits.
Participating bidding operators will be evaluated according to the concept and branding, menu, interior and terrace designs presented in the proposal.
