In celebration of Qatar’s National Sports Day, Qatar Marriott Business Council hotels joined hands once again to encourage a healthy lifestyle amongst its employees and promote team spirit across all its member hotels. Held at the Sheraton Grand Doha Resort & Convention Hotel on Tuesday, February 13th, the occasion brought together staff from W Doha Hotel & Residences, The St. Regis Doha, The Westin Doha Hotel & Spa, Sheraton Grand Doha Resort & Convention Hotel, Sharq Village & Spa, Doha Marriott Hotel, The Ritz-Carlton, and Marriott Marquis City Center Doha Hotel.

The event planned by Qatar Marriott Business Council hotels included a number of fun sports activities such as volleyball, football, cricket & basketball that all tested the stamina of the eager participants.

Celebrated every year on the second week of February, National Sports Day in Qatar is an initiative launched with the objective of fostering a healthy lifestyle amongst the residents in Qatar with sports activities. Marriott International along with the government of Qatar continue to promote a sports culture in the society.
