Qatar Petrochemical Company (Qapco) Q.S.C. has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Cultural Creativity Centre to sponsor activities and workshops for residents.

Thanks to Qapco’s sponsorship, Qataris and Arabic-speaking residents will be able to participate in free workshops and personal development classes provided by the centre.

The centre targets in particular Qatari youth. A team of experts and coaches offers classes and courses to encourage the development of skills and creativity and help discover personal abilities and talent.

Dr Mohammed Yousef Al Mulla, Vice-Chairman and CEO, Qapco, praised the centre’s role and dedication and said, “We are delighted to support the centre’s mission by sponsoring its workshops that allow the development of skills that are highly beneficial on a daily basis.

“Aligned with our commitment to Qatar National Vision 2030 and as a responsible corporate citizen, Qapco believes in supporting Qatari youth by offering free classes to allow them to be equipped with tools and know-how to attain their ambitions on personal and professional levels.”

The centre builds bridges between generations of talented citizens who aim to develop their abilities to full potential, contributing to shaping a sustainable future for Qatar.

Hassan Al Saee, Chairman, Cultural Creativity Centre, said, “Over the year, the centre has accomplished cultural and creative achievements. It has attracted many young Qatari talents who contributed significantly, with their vision and creativity, to institutions and authorities.

“The centre has also increased and diversified its cultural and creative programmes. It counts many talents who are writing short novels and plays, supporting Qatar’s creative energies and preserving our social and cultural heritage in line with Qatar National Vision 2030.”

The classes foster creativity, encourage lateral thinking, improve communication skills, boost self-confidence and personal development, and enhance business skills.

The programme for August is: Career development (Fahad Bu Hendim, Expert Coach and Workshop Leader); Time management (Abdulla Albuenain); How to market yourself (Mohamed Al Jufairi); Personality analysing (Social Development Centre); How to publish an E-book (Fahad Bu Hendi and Maha Al Khramiz); How to write a book (Fahad Bu Hendi); Cultural Forum (Moza Al Sehaq); Public Speaking (Arwa Al Khater); Poetry (Samira Al Obeid); Women Self-development (Amal Al Subeai) and Strategic Planning (Mohamed Al Kubaisi).
