Oryx Rotana is delighted to participate once again at the Qatar International Food Festival 2015. The award-winning Mediterranean restaurant of the hotel, The Cellar, has been chosen to be presented this year. Qatar International Food Festival 2015 organized by Qatar Tourism Authority and Qatar Airways lasts till March 28th.
“Oryx Rotana has been honoured to be a supporter of QIFF since the beginning,” said Oryx Rotana’s Director of Marketing and Communications, Lana Jwainat. “Our hotel is renowned for its creative and flavorful dishes at The Cellar, so it is a perfect timing to have some of our best sellers introduced to the public. We also want to show our swift service in preparing tasty food with grace under pressure.”
Fourteen chefs from the hotel have also been chosen to participate in a cooking class held by a Qatari chef from QR, emphasizing the Qatari cuisine. Several local dishes will be introduced to all participating chefs from different hotels at the Qatar Airways Cooking Theatre.
Some of the best-seller dishes from the restaurant, from calamari, crispy fried prawns, and cheese croquettes to beef Galician pie, meat balls, paella mix, tortilla and a sweet ending, churros will be featured during the event. The Cellar, located on the ground floor of Oryx Rotana hotel, serves lunch and dinner from 12:00PM – Midnight, seven days a week. For reservations or more information, please call +974 4402 4454.
