Ooredoo has today announced its Ooredoo tv service offers a new ‘Kids Mode’ feature, designed to enable the whole family to enjoy the company’s leading entertainment service.

With the new Ooredoo tv ‘Kids Mode’, subscribers can easily switch between the ‘Kids Mode’ and the normal Ooredoo tv services depending on viewer’s needs.

Once the ‘Kids Mode’ has been selected, Ooredoo tv’s box will only show live channels and On Demand content suitable for children and family viewing.

On top of this safety feature, the ‘Kids Mode’ has been designed to be easier to navigate, meaning everyone in the family can understand and use the service, from children through to adults.

As well as more visual and appealing menu content themed for children, users will not be able to subscribe or rent any additional packages or movies whilst using the feature, giving more security to parents.

Talking about the new feature, Manar Khalifa Al Muraikhi, Director of Community & Public Relations, Ooredoo Qatar said: “When we launched Ooredoo tv, we set out to offer a leading local and international experience with live TV, On Demand and App content. A huge focus for us is to ensure family friendly content for our users; and thanks to this latest service update, parents can relax knowing their children cannot watch inappropriate content, or accidently subscribe to any services, whilst watching Ooredoo tv.”

Ooredoo tv subscribers can begin enjoying the ‘Kids Mode’ from today by simply selecting the children shaped icon in the top right of the home menu screen, accessing the Ooredoo tv ‘settings’, or for users with the latest Ooredoo Premium Remote Control, pressing the dedicated children shaped icon.

Content available via the ‘Kids Mode’ is based on Ooredoo tv subscription packages.

Existing Mozaic TV customers who want to upgrade to Ooredoo tv can simply visit any Ooredoo retail shop to register and collect a free Ooredoo tv play device.
