Ooredoo is continuing to build a leadership position in the fields of collaborative solutions, cyber-security and managed services, showcasing its updated portfolio of solutions at the International Exhibition for Support Services and Business Solutions in Qatar (QBX) earlier this month.

Hosted under the patronage of the Ministry of Economy and Commerce, and held at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Centre, the QBX event brought together start-ups and enterprises to showcase a range of distinctive solutions, support services and investment opportunities in Qatar.

Ooredoo’s participation in the event enabled the company to demonstrate the full range of business solutions offered by the company, and in particular to highlight new services to safeguard data, connect remote offices and benefit from the scalability and versatility of cloud solutions.

Yousuf Abdulla Al Kubaisi, Chief Operating Officer, Ooredoo Qatar, said: “The QBX Expo provided a great opportunity for us to demonstrate our business portfolio to local, regional, and international businesses. Ooredoo is building a diverse portfolio of business solutions and services, deploying the power of the Ooredoo Supernet and the robust capacity of Ooredoo Data Centres across the country.”

As part of Ooredoo’s presence at the event, the company had a state-of-the-art booth, which showcased some of its most popular new solutions including the Cloud Voice and Collaboration Suite, a fully-managed Cloud solution to enhance the business communication, and Office 365, Microsoft’s Cloud-based office solution that enables employees to work anywhere, on any device.

In addition, experts at the event presented Ooredoo’s Smart VSAT, which is a cost-effective solution for delivering Internet access to remote locations, and M2M Solutions, such as Smart Fleet Management, which enable companies to track and manage fleets of vehicles.

Ooredoo also hosted a seminar during QBX that focused on how ICT services can contribute to the development of companies.
