Ooredoo’s Self Service Machines to Accept Qatar Charity Donations

Ooredoo and Qatar Charity today announced a partnership to enable donations to charity via Ooredoo’s nationwide Self Service Machine network.

With over 200 Self Service Machines spread across the country, donations to Qatar Charity can easily be made by cash or credit/debit card during the Holy Month and beyond.

Donations can be made towards a host of initiatives supporting education, health, social welfare, emergency and relief, and, several other projects of importance.

Al-Marri, Chief Sales & Service Officer, Ooredoo, said: “The exciting thing about this service is that you can choose where you want to donate your money, making it more interactive. We’re proud to support the Qatar Charity with the amazing work they do across Qatar and the region and urge customers to donate during the Holy Month.”

Jassim Ibrahim Almansouri, Marketing Manager, Qatar Charity, said: “The ease of use of the Self Service Machines means that donating will be easier than ever before. With several causes in need of funds and attention, we are delighted to be associated with Ooredoo and together aim to bring about positive social change.”

The initiative is part of a series of community and charity events hosted by Ooredoo throughout the Holy Month of Ramadan this year.

Qatar Charity strives to strengthen the capacities of the neediest and vulnerable groups and achieve social justice in cooperation with its partners.

This Ramadan, Ooredoo will also bring back the much loved Alrabaa as part of the Ramadan #DaysOfJoy campaign, with the Alrabaa bringing joy to the hearts of many through random acts of kindness.
