Ooredoo has today announced its 50% off student offer will now become permanent as the company work to support Qatar’s students in 2016.

The offer, which sees students access 50% off on all Shahry Smart Packs 100,150 or 250 for 12 months, as well as 50% off all monthly Mobile Internet Packs (excluding unlimited bundles) is available for all university and college students in Qatar.

Students under 26 years old studying in Qatar with a valid University or College card, will now get 50% off Shahry Smart Packs 100, 150 or 250 for 12 months, and 50% off 1GB, 3GB, 6GB and 15GBMobile Internet Packs for as long as they study.

To qualify for the discount, students simply need to take their valid university or college student ID card to Ooredoo Shops along with their QID to register.

Ooredoo has already signed a major new research agreement to support innovation and development for Qatar University (QU) and Texas A&M University students this year, as part of its vision to support the next-generation of leaders.

By making the 50% off offer permanent the company hopes to give more affordable access to the life-enriching technology of Ooredoo’s Supernet network.
