Ooredoo has today announced that it is the Official Telecommunications Partner of the +974 Design and Development - Ladies Only Fan Zone.
To ensure that everyone has access to the World Cup in Qatar, +974 Design and Development, a start-up by four Qatari ladies, have organised a dedicated women’s only 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia Fan Zone for the final.
The event will take place on Sunday 15 July from 3 – 11 PM at Qatar National Convention Centre and will include an interactive quiz on the World Cup, live coverage of the game and food and beverages, with a special programme from +974 Design and Development about Qatar 2022.
+974 Design and Development expect a big turnout for the event, due to demand, and have invited more than 600 women to join them in watching the final match between Croatia and France.
Talking about the event, Manar Khalifa Al Muraikhi, Director PR and Corporate Communications, Ooredoo Qatar, said: “Ooredoo is delighted to be supporting this initiative which aims to ensure all of Qatar’s communities can enjoy the final of the World Cup in line with the traditions and culture of Qatar.
