The new WWE portal is an exclusive service for Ooredoo customers in Qatar, and will include the latest up to date content across the various events.

The service has been designed to accompany Ooredoo’s Mozaic TV coverage of WWE – which airs its globally popular RAW and SmackDown programmes.

Talking about the new partnership Fatima Sultan Al Kuwari, Director of Community and Public Relations, Ooredoo, said: “Like the WWE we believe in promoting good health, fair sportsmanship and championing youth. We’re excited to offer our customers exclusive content to the latest WWE news, and hope to announce more partnerships with Nazara, to give our customers access to more internationally loved companies soon.”

Savio Saldanha, CEO, Middle East & Africa, Nazara Technologies, said: “We are very happy about this alliance with Ooredoo to power their newly-launched mobile WWE Club. Qatar is one of the fastest-growing markets for us and through this partnership, Ooredoo customers will have an unlimited access to our portfolio of titles across genres and mobile platforms. We are certain that this association will be beneficial for us both and for the growing number of WWE enthusiasts in the country.”

Through the new dedicated mobile portal, users can enjoy access to the popular WWE shows, highlight videos, wallpapers and ringtones with a subscription of just QR 1/Day or QR 5/Week.

The new service is available for all users and can be activated at any time by sending the SMS ‘SUB 1’ to 92480 for daily subscription and ‘SUB 2’ for weekly.

Ooredoo has a long history of supplying wrestling fans in Qatar access to WWE content, and in 2011 the company brought the WWE to the Middle East after more than 10 years, with the WWE’s first live event in the region - “WWE Presents WrestleMania™ Revenge” tour.

The new WWE portal service promises to offer fans in Qatar access to their favourite WWE Superstars such as Brock Lesnar™, Randy Orton™, Nikki Bella™, John Cena™ and more.
