The new and improved Souq Al Haraj, which means "market that sells second-hand or used goods" is all set to open soon in Barwa Village. This new Souq Al Haraj will replace the old one that was located in Najma and with time had become more and more congested, according to Triple A Qatar.

Even though Souq Al Haraj sells second-hand and used goods, there are many new goods and products to be found there as well, which include, furniture, home furnishing, carpets, electrical appliances, air conditioners, decoration items and a whole lot more.

The new Souq Al Haraj has been built on 83,592.10 square metres and the buildings are all modern. It will consist of 314 rentable outlets and will have 844 parking lots for shop owners and visitors. The total shops area will be approximately 25,149 square metres.

It will be easy for residents in Al Wakrah and Mesaieed to access the Souq because of the multi-lane access road that will connect the new Souq Al Haraj with the F-Ring Road, without causing traffic congestion for vehicles travelling through Al Wakrah, Abu Hamour and Al Thumama.

A multi-lane access road will link the upcoming Souq Haraj to F-Ring Road in such a way that vehicles coming from and going to Al Thumama, Abu Hamour and Al Wakrah would not lead to congestion near Barwa Village.
