To enhance the roaming experience of Shahry and Hala customers, Ooredoo today announced that the new Ooredoo Passport Card will be available via the Ooredoo App, allowing customers to buy or top-up their Passport whenever they want.

Both Shahry and Hala customers will be able to buy the Ooredoo Passport Card via the Ooredoo App and the cost will be added to the Shahry bill or will be deducted from the Hala credit balance. Customers can download the updated App for free via the iTunes or Google store now.

Roaming customers will now be able to top-up their roaming data and minute allowance instantly via the App, which gives them more convenience than ever before.

The Ooredoo Passport Card, which was introduced last month, has seen a successful launch with customers looking to top-up their roaming data and minutes allowance during the summer travel season. The Ooredoo Passport is available in more than 65 countries and customers can use their roaming allowance within Ooredoo’s Passport network of more than 165 partners.

Ooredoo Passport is the biggest and best roaming service available to customers and this enhancement has made the service more accessible and valuable to Ooredoo customers.

As multiple cards can be activated at the same time, customers can now enjoy more roaming allowance within a week than ever before.

The Ooredoo Passport Card offers customers 100 roaming minutes for receiving and making calls and 1GB of roaming mobile data for just QR 100.

Customers can use the 1GB data allowance also on Ooredoo's bigger and faster 4G roaming network. As an added bonus, customers travelling in the GCC get an additional 1GB of data in their allowance at no cost. The Ooredoo Passport Card allowance is valid for seven days.
