New F&B Menu Concept Launches at the Wyndham Grand Regency Doha

Wyndham Grand Regency Doha held a cocktail reception for media and corporate business partners to launch the new F&B menu concept.

Al Kut Café:

Al Kut menu features option include the Italian corner, served with a variety of Italian appetizers and snacks finished of with an Italian mocktail; Spaghetti ice cream and Burger ice cream; Giant cappuccino, served with a 600ml worth of coffee and if guest will finish it all, they might get it for free; New Cigar menu offering a large variety of cigars together with the launching of our own cigar club. Al Kut, located in the newly renovated lobby at the ground floor of the hotel, is open daily from 7:00am to midnight and experiences the luxurious art ambience featuring a unique art gallery.

Tangia Restaurant:

A popular favourite in Doha for many years, one of the city’s first true Moroccan restaurants, Tangia, launch an enticing new menushowcases an exotic blend of Arabian ingredients.

Tangia’s signature specialities consist of classic Moroccan dishes created from the most well-known Marrakesh cuisine and locally sourced ingredients. Options include Chicken wings with harissa and bell pepper, Madfouna (stuffed Moroccan bread with spiced meat and argan oil) a traditional Moroccan soup with Seafood; Ktaf ganmi Mechoui Roasted lamb shoulder with Moroccan herbs, served with saffron rice OR couscous and, to finish the evening, Mehencha Stuffed phylo with roasted almond,And honey serve with vanilla ice creaman extensive selection of Moroccan teas; Moroccan Fusion dessert , served with amazing delicacies from Morocco and an Italian touch. The restaurant also offers the following:

§ Moroccan Brunch served a traditional Moroccan Brunch with a variety of Tagines, salads and Moroccan bread for only QR 149 per person. Every Friday and Saturday from 12:00hrs to 16:00hrs.

§ Marrakesh Night - offers an authentic Marrakesh Buffet in Tangia Restaurant. Gentlemen QR 240 and Ladies QR 200. Every Thursday from 18:30hrs till 23:00hrs.

§ Sharazad Night – Tangia Restaurant opens its doors for ladies only every Wednesday night to enjoy the delicious wonders of the traditional Moroccan cuisine accompanied by the tunes of mesmerizing music during “Sharazad Night”. NO MEN are allowed in the restaurant and during the night the door will be managed by a security lady. Every Wednesday between 18:30hrs and 23:30hrs.

“TANGIA” is well known in the market for its reputation for the true Moroccan taste quality. Tangia, located in the lobby at the ground floor of the hotel, is open daily from 12:00 to 24:00midnight and combines a mélange of influences from traditional Moroccan recipes in a warm, contemporary setting, making for an ideal place to unwind.

In addition, the Wyndham Grand Regency Doha has announced “Rachid Choukki” as the new Tangia Chef.

Chef Rachid is from Marrakech, Morocco and served over 11 years of experience in renowned 5 star hotels such as Marrakech, Dubai, Abu Dhabi and India.

“Chef Rachid is a talented and experienced hospitality professional and will play a key role in ensuring that the Wyndham Grand Regency Hotel continues to provide guests with the same high-quality service and exceptional value that it has become known for in the Doha community,” said Jameel Nabtiti, Executive Chef of the Wyndham Grand Regency Hotel.

Chopsticks Restaurant:

The newly revamped Chopsticks Restaurant announced an enticing new menu showcasing the best of Far Eastern cuisine. Chopsticks, located in the lobby at the ground floor of the hotel, is open daily from 12:00 to 24:00midnight and designed by one of the top interior designers in Doha, Chopsticks offers a casual-chic dining atmosphere. The dining room’s Chinese décor is full of colour, gracious hospitality and relaxing atmosphere.

Chopsticks, signature specialties menu features of mix of different Asian cuisines. Chinese and Thai dishes are available, along with a wide variety of Japanese favorites.

The award winning restaurant, “CHOPSTICKS” is well known in the market for its renown for the true far eastern taste quality. Also it is the only sushi restaurant in Doha serving “Sushi” prepared live in front of every table. The guest will experience and learn the skills of sushi making. Including delightful mouthwatering sushi made of chicken, beef & duck.

The restaurants also offers the following for all the family regardless of age in very affordable prices.

§ Sushi Fiesta - served a delightful Miso soup followed by Sushi Fiesta. Eat as much you can for only QR 169 per person. Every Saturday from 18:30hrs to 23:00hrs.

Announcement of New Director of Restaurants

Wyndham Grand Regency Doha welcomes Guiseppe Bonasia as the new Director of Restaurants.

Guiseppe Bonasia is from Sicily – Italy, came from a family with own restaurant and holds a Cultural Tourism Degree plus Master class in F&B Management that was obtained from Catawia. He has working in high end chains in hospitality industry such as Viceroy, Rotana etc.

“I am really pleased to work with the professional team of Wyndham Grand Regency Doha and I look forward to the challenges that lie ahead andintroduce new ideas in order to maintain the International standards of the hotel”, said Guiseppe Bonasia.

The main objective of Wyndham Grand Regency Management team is to create guest for life and this can only happen by creating guest satisfaction.
