Popular Lifestyle Group of Restaurants soft opened a Brazilian Churrascaria concept Restaurant named ‘Copacabana’ for the food lovers in Qatar.

The first stand-alone restaurant is located at the Corniche of Souq Wakra. The soft opening was officially done by Khalid Al Suwaidi, General Manager, Souq Waqif along with Yoonus Salim Vappattu, Managing Director, Lifestyle Restaurant Group, a Venture of SAVY Hospitality WLL Qatar.

Based on the concept of Brazilian Churrascaria, the restaurant can accommodate about 150 guests and features an extensive menu grilled in authentic Brazilian Rodizio style.

In addition to the Churrascaria Menu, Copacabana also offers a wide range of delicacies through its à la carte menu.

During the launch, Lifestyle Group’s Managing Director Yoonus Salim Vappattu said, “The corniche area at the Souq is a hidden gem in Qatar yet to be explored by many. He further added, Copacabana is the first stand alone Brazilian restaurant for the South American food fans in the state of Qatar. To enhance the overall dining experience, we have presented the beautifully choreographed Brazilian entertainers — Capoeirists and football juggler; not to forget the mouth watering selections of prime cut meat and poultry cooked in a traditional Brazilian Grill right in front of you. Navin Prasad, Senior Vice-President Food and Beverage Development said, “At Copacabana, we have worked hard to deliver the authentic Brazilian steak house experience. Every aspect of the restaurant, the décor, the menu and the entertainment has been designed attentively to give the customers a real Brazilian experience. To make it affordable and to add value for money, we have carefully thought through the ‘All You Can Eat’ Churrascaria menu with options starting from QR99.

Also to add variety the à la carte menu features dishes such as Pulled beef toasties, our six-hour-cooked beef delicately pulled and dressed with BBQ and blue cheese. Crispy lamb salad crisp tender lamb parchments tossed with assorted greens and baby gems. One of our Signature Mushroom risotto, arborio cooked to doneness with a bouquet of mushroom extract and topped with porccini crisps and many more.
