Mondrian Doha's Epic Entertainment Weekend featuring various celebrities, chefs and musicians

Mondrian Doha, from leading global lifestyle hospitality company sbe, has announced a range of entertainment and lifestyle focused events set to take place at the hotel fulfilling its promise of being the epicenter of all thing’s entertainment in Doha.

From 4-6 October, Mondrian Doha will host a range of experiences focusing on fashion, music, lifestyle and entertainment turning Mondrian Doha into the centerstage of entertainment in the region.

To kick start this Epic Entertainment Weekend, Mondrian Doha will host Grammy nominated hip hop artist and actor, Fat Joe at Black Orchid on 4 October on the back of his latest album release, Family Ties. The hitmaker’s most recent chart -topping success includes number one song All the Way Up featuring Remy Ma and French Montana. Fat Joe will also perform classic hits such Lean Back and What’s Luv? Entrance to Black Orchid will be QAR 150. (No membership required).

Taking place on 5 October FAB Entertainment launches Fashion Weekend International 2018 (FWI2018), the world’s first Fashion Weekend, with Mondrian Doha being its hospitality partner. The event willfeature fashion designer Manish Malhotra, Bollywood actress and icon, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and celebrity make-up and hair stylist, NABILA. Happening in the Moonstone Ballroom at Mondrian Doha, Rai Bachchan will walk for Malhotra for the first time ever internationally. This marks a momentous occasion for Qatar, turning Doha into an avant-garde destination for fashion lovers.In addition, to these Bollywood sensations launching FWI 2018, Pakistani actress, Mahira Khan, actor Hamza Ali Abbasi, Indian film director and producer, Rohan Sippy and Raju Raneewill attend the fashion weekend.

Fashion Weekend International is a series of fashion-focused events to be hosted across the weekend which will throw a spotlight exclusively on Manish Malhotra’s designs, showcased by India’s top models and celebrity showstopper Rai Bachchan. Fashionistas can enjoy make-up classes; a celebrity book launch and a special trunk show by Malhotra who will be designing unique pieces by appointment only in Mondrian Doha’s Bridal Suite.

Black Orchid will be the official host of the FWI2018 After Party featuring critically acclaimed DJ Shadow, who first gained notoriety after his acclaimed debut studio album, Introducing. This club DJ known for hip hop instrumental as well as dance hits featuring hip hop acts. His hit, Nobody Speak, garnered 23 million views on YouTube. DJ Shadow has been producing music for 25 years and will take FWI 2018 into high gear on 6 October. Membership required (150 QAR fore male – 100QAR ladies)

To round off the Epic Entertainment Weekend at Mondrian Doha, world renowned celebrity chef, Masahuru Morimoto will be in Doha to celebrate the one-year anniversary of Morimoto Doha at Mondrian Doha. As part of the one-year anniversary celebrations, Morimoto will be launching in high-fashion the first ever brunch for Morimoto globally. The Momosan Brunch will feature a seven-course menu with Morimoto favourites, on Saturdays from 12.30 pm- 3.30 pm. Starting at QAR 350 per person.
