The Ministry of Labor announced in a tweet on 22 March 2022, that it had seized two companies, one in the insurance sector and the other in the communications and information technology sector, for tampering with nationalization policies for jobs in the private sector.

The ministry explained in a statement that the two companies have manipulated and circumvented the policies of localizing jobs in the private sector, and employing some in jobs covered by the job localization program in the private sector without obtaining a work permit from the Ministry of Labor.

The Ministry affirmed that it will firmly confront all those who neglect the implementation of their obligations stipulated in the law, regulations and instructions with regard to the program of nationalizing jobs in the private sector. It will also intensify its inspection campaigns on companies and will take legal measures against anyone who violates laws and decisions.

The control of violations comes as part of the efforts to monitor private sector companies, to ensure the implementation of policies and plans for nationalizing jobs and benefiting from the national workforce, in addition to following up obstacles that male and female citizens may face in their work with local private sector facilities and companies.
