Galler, the iconic Belgian chocolatier, has opened its first GCC boutique and tea room in the Mall of Qatar – the country’s signature retail precinct.

Galler Qatar was officially opened by His Excellency Christophe Payot, Ambassador of Belgium to Qatar, during a prestigious ribbon-cutting ceremony attended by Johnny De Gouveia – Group Executive Director, Mr. Donald Batal, CEO, Galler Qatar, Mrs. Ghada Naim, Business Development Manager, and an assortment of the Gulf state’s most influential mediofa and online personalities.

Founded by master confectioner Jean Galler in 1976, the Galler brand has emerged as a true pioneer and a heralded leader of the globally-renowned Belgian chocolate industry. Mirroring its iconic chocolatier founder’s desire to constantly innovate and create, Galler Qatar marks the latest chapter in the brand’s storied history with the arrival of the country’s first world-class destination for gourmet chocolate aficionados.

Galler Qatar’s boutique is a joy on the eye as well as the taste buds. The renowned colorful pralines and chocolates are displayed in a manner reflecting the founder’s passion for creativity and originality.
