Customer Appreciation Week

As part of Marriott’s Global Customer Appreciation Week, Marriott Hotels in Qatar, held a glamorous event attended by more than 500 executives and leaders from some of the biggest and most successful companies in Qatar. As a token of gratitude for their loyal guests and partners, Marriott Hotels organized a lavish evening at the poolside of The St. Regis Doha.

With a ‘Pearl Night’ themed event, Marriott showcased Qatar’s rich and unique history of pearl diving. The event displayed exquisite decorations to match the theme, a huge selection of food and beverage options, cooking stations serving sumptuous delicacies from different Food & Beverage venues at the hotel, which included Astor Grill Steakhouse, Opal by Gordon Ramsay, Al Sultan Brahim, The Rooftop, The Club, Vintage and Oyster Bay. Guests were also able to enjoy live entertainment that included an international DJ and a live band.

The event kicked off with a speech given by Raghu Menon, the General Manager at the St. Regis Doha, wherein he acknowledged all the guests for being a part of the Global Customer Appreciation Week 2018 grand celebration. “We are delighted to celebrate the Global Customer Appreciation Week (GCAW) 2018 in a glamorous way this year. This is a great opportunity for us to express our appreciation to our valued customers for their continuous support and loyalty,” he said.

Gamal El Fakih Rodriguez, Area Director of Operations - Middle East and Africa at Marriott International, also took the stage to welcome everyone and expressed his gratitude to everyone who attended the Global Customer Appreciation Week 2018 Grand Celebration and for being loyal partners to Marriott Hotels in Qatar and around the world.

Following the speeches, attendees were treated to a mouthwatering selection of international dishes, and enjoyed breathtaking performances delivered by a DJ and a live band. As part of the ‘Pearl Night’ theme, treasure chests with exciting prizes were kept in glass bottles around the pool and were retrieved and delivered by three beautiful mermaids. The raffle draw offered attendees a wide range of prizes including hotel stays, restaurants vouchers, and two tickets to any destination around the world.
