This week, we're featuring Majoor, Qatar’s first comprehensive healthcare platform in the digital space and government-approved medicine delivery service. You can buy medicines as well as other healthcare and wellness products online at Majoor and have them delivered to the address you provided, anywhere in Qatar!
As a pioneer in the digital healthcare space and as the first government-approved delivery service, Majoor aims to simplify the medicine procurement and delivery process, thus making any visits to the doctor less stressful for you and your loved ones. Recognizing the need to ensure online availability of a wider variety of healthcare-related products, Majoor also offers medical cosmetics, hygiene products, as well as baby care products.
You can order medicines easily using its comprehensive search function and precise categories, upload prescriptions and have them deciphered by experts, and schedule orders like medications to be delivered, including medicines that need to be kept at cold temperatures.
Majoor’s cold chain infrastructure and Ministry of Public Health-approved vehicles will enable you to have the confidence that your purchases are handled with the highest level of quality.
If you do not want to manually place your order, simply take a photograph of your prescription and send it via the app. Majoor will ensure delivery of your order (to adhere to medical records requirements, you will need to give the delivery staff the original copy of the prescription when your order is delivered).
The founder, Engr. Ali Khalid Al-Hajri, had a tragedy in his family some years ago where a sibling required long-term care on account of a sporting accident. His personal experiences during his brother’s treatment (and the additional challenges during the COVID period) led him to believe that there must be a better way to manage healthcare with the technologies that are available today. Majoor is a direct consequence of that belief.
Majoor aims to be Qatar’s first fully integrated healthcare platform - that will be a one-stop-shop for healthcare services (this will also include preventive healthcare and wellness services).
Majoor’s aim is to demonstrate that it is possible to digitize even difficult businesses and that the future is digital for all services. If all goes well, you will soon see Majoor as Qatar’s first online hospital!
The 100% Qatari company aims to provide a level of convenient access for online healthcare similar to what is available today for online banking services. Majoor’s fundamental goal is to ensure that healthcare can be accessed online without compromising on quality. Thus with Majoor, in the near future, you can consult and talk to doctors online without having to step out of your home!
If for some reason you have a need to have a face-to-face appointment with your doctor, Majoor will help you obtain an appointment for your visit to the healthcare facility where your doctor is based. This too will be possible directly on the app.
Majoor aims to provide a seamless platform with regard to enabling users to obtain healthcare services at a quality similar to what they receive at healthcare centers and will roll out this additional service very soon.
Majoor is also aiming to provide medical test facilities (such as collecting blood test samples, etc.) at one’s doorstep so it's more convenient for customers with regards to healthcare services.
