The largest Public Healthy Company in the Middle East, Boecker, brought extensive attention to the importance of temperature control, during the Food Chain conference, held at the Hilton Doha. Produced by CPI Industry, and having Boecker as an associate sponsor, the conference focused on putting forth the subject of the cold chain infrastructure, and its impact on health and well-being, in line with Qatar’s National Vision 2030. The conference was attended by local and regional authorities, as well as food safety, health and hygiene experts.

Commenting on Boecker’s participation, Qatar Country Manager Carla Ghaleb said: “We continuously strive to support such events, as we strongly believe in promoting the importance of food safety practices across food chain stakeholders. These initiatives reflect the company’s ambition to enhance and further encourage the actions taken to help food establishments implement simple, and highly effective food safety systems, in compliance with local and international food safety regulations.”

Commenting on her participation in the conference’s panel Hala Makhoul Ward, Group Food Safety Manager at Boecker, said: “I am very pleased to represent Boecker and share its best practices and expertise during this conference. Monitoring temperatures across all stages of the food chain is a matter of great importance, especially that inadequate control of it is one of the main causes of food poisoning. Other causes that also need more awareness are improper storage, cooking and holding of food. It is the job of food handlers to continuously upgrade and monitor temperatures from the receiving of raw materials to the delivery of end products.”
