Streaming of vigorous consultations between the government of Qatar and the Japanese Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheriesand the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare have agreed to export the sought-after Japanese Halal “Wagyu” beef to Qatar.
The Japanese “Wagyu” beef complies with a strict set of conditions. For instance the beef is graded based on the yield grade and meat quality. The yield grade is classified from A to C where A is the Greatest. The meat quality is ranked on a scale that starts from 5 to 1 based on the meat “marbling” aspect, “color” and “firmness of the beef”, in addition to the “color and quality of the fat”, where A5, B5 & C5 are the highest grade. Notably, “Wagyu” beef is mainly graded as A4 & A5.
As of March 2015, Four Seasons Hotel Doha is open for the “Wagyu” beef fans who will be thrilled with the scrumptious “Halal Wagyu beef” which is served professionally at the hotel from a wide range menu of mouthwatering and succulent “Wagyu” beef plates that are prepared as to reveal the meat’s genuine taste.

Some of the plates listed on the menu include Toban Yaki stove grilled steak, Tataki, Seared premium D-rump sushi, Rib loin steak with grilled vegetable and peppercorn sauce and such.
