Google Pay has officially launched in Qatar offering encrypted and convenient payment transactions. Banks that offer the service will provide their customers with a faster, more secure, and more convenient way to pay in stores and applications using just their mobile devices through payment methods saved in their Google accounts.
Google Pay is a secure method of payment that provides customers with contactless payment through their phones. The transactions done through Google Pay are encrypted before, during, and after every purchase. Google Pay will now allow Android users to tap their mobile phones to complete their payment transactions.
Linking desired bank cards to Google Pay will take customers a few minutes to complete. To set up Google Pay, customers should first download the Google Wallet app from Google Play. Google Wallet is a digital wallet, also launching today in Qatar, that stores cards for Google Pay, as well as loyalty cards, boarding passes, and more. Then, follow the instructions in the app. They can also set up Google Pay on the web at pay.google.com. Once the card has been added, users will not need to enter their payment information again. They only need to choose Google Pay at checkout, confirm purchase and pay.
