Guided by passion for preserving and perpetuating the Arabian horse in Qatar, Al Shaqab was founded in 1992 at Al Shaqab battle site – where Bedouins had fought a pivotal battle that led to Qatar's independence more than a century ago. Al Shaqab Hotel, which features a total of 70 guest rooms and 24-hour in-room dining facilities, provides guests with unlimited access to an array of hotel amenities including the use of Marwan Club – an exclusive private-members club equipped with state-of-the-art facilities. In addition, the hotel offers equestrian riding packages and facility tours. Marwan Club’s name is inspired by Marwan Al Shaqab, the award-winning 2000 bay Arabian stallion; today, the venue boasts a fitness zone, swimming pool, as well as steam and sauna rooms and Kids Zone that offers families peace of mind as they leave their little ones in the care of well-trained childcare specialists.
In parallel, Al Shaqab Hotel offers guests a unique experience with its innovative Stay, Ride, Swim package.
