Dr. Abdulaziz Al Horr of Qatar Finance and Business Academy (QFBA) Confirmed as Keynote Speaker at Upcoming Launch Conference

Launch, a series of associated learning events for Qatari Nationals is focused on developing the country’s future and existing leaders who are looking to enhance their career, has confirmed Dr. Abdulaziz Al Horr, CEO of QFBA, will be one of the keynote speakers at the upcoming Launch conference. The second Launch conference will be held from December 1-3, 2015 at the Marriott Renaissance Doha, Qatar.

Launch facilitates the professional development of Qatari Nationals by equipping them with professional knowledge and skills, as well as cultivating responsibility, ambition and ownership for their personal career development.

During the three day event, participants will develop their social media management skills, organisational effectiveness, and critical analysis, problem solving and executive coaching skills. As well as enhancing their emotional intelligence and personal strengths through engaging networking events. Insightful forums and high profile speakers will provide them first hand with industry insight and learnings to apply to their current and future careers.

Dr. Abdulaziz Al Horr joins an excellent selection of engaging and inspiring speakers and facilitators, including: Ammar Mohammed, Digital Marketing Advisor and Trainer at Social Media Solutions, and Founder of the Social Media Club Qatar; Daniel Mills, Organisational Change Specialist; Hilary Rowe, Senior HR Partner at RasGas; Nicole Simpson, Learning Facilitator at the Qatar Development and Consultancy Centre (QD&CC); Layla Saad, Coach, Writer and Speaker at Heart Shaped Dreamers; Mohamed Al Hayder, Founder of Takallum; along with Elizabeth Fleming, Founder and CEO of Launch. As well as a distinguished list of Qatari leaders who will speak at Launch including Afraa Al Noaimi, Director of Operations at the Josoor Institute.

The second Launch Conference will centre on the theme, “Mind and Motivation” which will explore critical thinking skills, motivating self and others as well as examine emotional intelligence and professional mindfulness. The first two days of Launch will cover a range of workshops on topics including: “Mindfulness and Emotional Intelligence”, “Maximising Personal Potential”, “Understanding Personal Strengths”, “Transforming Fear into Fuel”, and “Mind Games (improving critical thinking skills)”.

Meanwhile, Day Three of Launch offers a range of half day workshops which promote mind and motivation techniques. These workshops include “Motivation and Inspiration” by Nicola Simpson, “Team Work” by Bedaya Centre, “Presenting Self and Organisations via Social Media” by Ammar Mohammed of Social Media Solutions, and “Winning from Within” a workshop to enhance organisational effectiveness provided by Daniel Mills.
