What's new?

CBQ Mobile App's upgraded interface comes with enhanced services and user experiences. The application runs smoothly, allowing easier navigation for users.

Customize your dashboard

Have the comfort and freedom to decide what to see on your main dashboard. You can now add or remove product categories and rename them, personalize your favourite services, and even choose to hide or unhide account or card balances!

Quick access to the Rewards Portal

Commercial Bank Credit Card users can now easily access the Rewards Portal to check reward points and even redeem them!

Additional account opening

Interested in opening another current or savings account? Users may now open a new account instantly through the new CBQ Mobile App.

Manage CB font size

Offering a personalized intuitive experience, users may now adjust the font size of the mobile application, making it truly accessible.

Other Innovative Services

Commercial Bank has expanded its reach to over 30 countries, including India, the Philippines, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Nepal, Bangladesh, Turkey, Jordan, UK & Europe, allowing customers to send faster payments to accounts and through cash pickup services and wallets, reducing reliance on other traditional methods. Through their partnership with Western Union, they expanded faster payment services to 10 new corridors in 2021, mainly in the African regions. They also introduced a bundled remittance offer where customers can buy from different packages and benefit from reduced transfer fees.

With a customer-centric approach, they engage with customers using innovative features such as digital mobile cheque deposit, CB Household Worker Paycard, CB Pay for Merchants supporting Mobile and QR code payments, CB Pay Link for non - CB customers, and Qatar Mobile Payment (mPay).

eLoans and eCard Services, a service that enables customers to apply for personal loans and credit cards directly through CBQ Mobile App without the need to visit a branch. The customer can quickly check the available loan and credit card limits and apply for them.

Customers can also benefit from exchange rate alerts on CBQ Mobile App, which allows users to set an alert to receive notifications when the desired rate is reached.

Customers may now also raise a request to cancel, amend, or investigate the status of their International Funds transfer via the CBQ Mobile App, eliminating the need for a customer to visit the branch or call the Bank.

For further convenience, users can add a mobile number to receive a one-time password (OTP) to the secondary cardholder when shopping online.

CB card offers can be easily navigated and list those nearby you using state-of-the-art augmented reality.

Tap n Pay transactions have also been enabled for customers to use with their mobile devices while making payments at any contactless POS terminals and even complete remote online e-commerce purchases using Apple Pay for iOS users and CB Pay / Samsung Pay/ Google Pay for Android users without exposing their Credit Card details.

      Commercial Bank’s Internet Banking and CBQ Mobile App offer greater flexibility than ever before, reducing the need for customers to visit or call the branch while continuing to transact in a safe, secure, and convenient manner.

      To safeguard customers’ accounts and to protect them from fraud and cybercrime, CB Direct Notifications have been introduced, which send alerts to the customer’s registered CB Mobile App in case of suspicious activity. Furthermore, CBsafe ID on CBQ Mobile App has also been rolled out, an intuitive technology that helps customers identify if the caller is a Commercial Bank staff or a fraudster.
