Priced at a reasonable QAR 89 per person (QAR 49 for children under the age of 12), the Iftar mealat Zafran Indian Bistro in Mall of Qataris a not-to-be-missed experience this Holy Month. Wholesome but well-balanced, the 4-course set menu will leave guests, satisfied and nourished but not uncomfortable, according to Chef Gaurav Singh, Zafran’s Head of Culinary who carefully put together the Ramadan offering to exemplify the spirit of Ramadan.

The first course features a hearty but light Dal Shorba followed by a selection of chicken and fish kebabs. For the vegetarians, the starters include Paneer Tikka and Stuffed Mushroom. Diners can then choose from one of Zafran’s signature main courses and accompaniments including the perennial favorites Chicken Tikka Masala, Fish Curry, Palak Paneer, Gobi Mutter and Dal Zafran. The sweet ending to the meal is Gulab Jamun with Rabdi, a traditional Indian dessert consisting of deep-fried cottage cheese dumplings in sugar syrup. Dates, fresh fruit and an Iftar drink will be provided for all guests along with Naan bread and rice.

“Ramadan is a time of reflection and family and there’s no better place to enjoy this time with your loved ones than at Zafran, where the cosy and inviting ambiance combines with exemplary service and a tastefully-crafted Iftar menu that satisfies but doesn’t overwhelm,” added Chef Gaurav.
