–Q-Auto the official dealer of Audi in Qatar announces the success of the ‘quattro tour‘ road show, held at Ezdan Mall. The exhibition held last week, gave participants the opportunity to experience Audi’s world-renowned quattro technology, through a series of specially designed test drive exercises. The exhibit brought together more than 231 car enthusiasts from across the country, resulting in the most successful ‘Land of quattro’ event in the region.

The quattro tour road show invited guests to explore Audi’s legendary quattro technology through a series of practical on road and off road driving sessions, specially designed on a purpose built course. Participants were given the opportunity to experience the technique first hand through a range of models at the exhibit, including the Audi Q5, Q3, A5 and A3. Audi professional drive instructors introduced the demonstration with an insight into Audi’s advanced quattro technology followed by safety training for all participants. The course involved structures and obstacles designed to give participants a full off-road handling experience of the quattro all-wheel drive system and to demonstrate some of the technical features on the Audi Q Models such as hill descent control. Using a ‘brake and avoid‘ exercise, participants also tested the difference between front wheel drive and quattro cars, as well as the safety systems fitted to the vehicle, such as the anti-lock braking system (ABS) and stability control.

Commenting on the road show, Audi Qatar Marketing Manager, Anthony Kwan said, "We are thrilled to be able to bring Audi to the people through this event and provide participants with the chance to experience the revolutionary quattro technology. The exhibit demonstrated Audi’s quattro drive technology to both regular drivers and car enthusiasts, offering them a hands-on experience of the brand’s effortless maneuverability and handling system.We are passionate about introducing our customers to a new level of driving experience through our exciting range of models that are available at our Audi showroom on Salwa road.”

Apart from the demonstration of the vehicles, the brand drew in a number of viewers at Ezdan Mall, through a premium Audi model showcase. Vehicles on display included a classic 1980 Rally car, RS4 sports sedan, S1 and the recently unveiled Audi Q7.
