TRAVELLERS flying in and out of Adelaide will do so aboard the world’s most advanced aeroplane — and it’s claimed it will reduce jet lag.
Adelaide will be the first city in Australia to host the Airbus A350-XWB (X-tra Wide Body), which will be operated by Qatar Airways when it starts a daily Adelaide-Doha service from May 3.
Qatar’s Country Manager Australasia, Adam Radwanski, told the Sunday Mail the twin-engine jet that can carry 283 passengers will change long-haul travel.
“It is designed to reduce jet lag, with advancements aimed at passengers’ wellbeing so they arrive feeling fresh and rested,” he said.
Key factors that will help passengers arrive feeling zesty instead of zombie include:
CARBON fibre materials means cabin pressure can be reduced by 25 per cent compared to comparable aircraft, and allow the fuel efficient jet to fly at lower altitudes. (Source)
