On 20 February 2023, in celebration of the epic Qatar Fashion United by CR Runway Show, organisers welcomed those involved in the event to an exclusive premier of a short film produced by French director and producer Fabien Constant. The 30-minute film showcases highlights from the show and was released by CR Runway .

Contributors to the project, including a selection of local designers whose work featured in the show, VIPs, influencers, sponsors, and media – gathered last night at M7’s iconic Sky Theatre to commemorate this extraordinary achievement, and to watch an exclusive private screening of the film ahead of its release to the public today.

The unique event was envisioned by Qatar Museums Chairperson Her Excellency Sheikha Al Mayassa bint Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, curated by visionary French fashion editor Carine Roitfeld and directed by Vladimir Restoin Roitfeld.

The exclusive film which is now available to view on Qatar Creates Channels, shows snippets from the opening act with national ambassadors representing the 32 countries in the FIFA World Cup 2022 Qatar™, followed by the four choreographed runway presentations. Attended by big names such as ex-footballer David Beckham, US model Candice Huffine, and model Imaan Hammam, the fashion show brought together the worlds of fashion, football, and culture, and represented six continents on a single runway. Over 80 renowned models and celebrities were cast in the show, and over 160 brands from some of the world’s most influential fashion houses in the world, along with acclaimed global icons of art, fashion, music, architecture, and sport, were showcased to an audience of over 20,000 attendees.

Sharing the stage with some of the most acclaimed and internationally recognised icons in the industry, were 21 Qatar-based brands presented by M7 – Qatar’s creative hub for entrepreneurship in fashion, design, and technology - including Ghada Al Subaey with 1309, Naila Al Thani, and Nada Al Sulaiti with Hairaat.

Hosted at Stadium 974 on 16 December 2022, two days before the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™ final, this extraordinary cultural gathering put an international spotlight on Qatar's creative flair.
