National Museum of Qatar (NMoQ) on Monday hosted a Chinese art evening in cooperation with the Chinese Embassy in the framework of the Museum's innovative program to learn about the culture of communities in order to engage all communities in Qatar through cultural and artistic exchange.
The program provides visitors with the opportunity to meet different communities living in the country, discover more about their heritage and culture, taste their food, hear their music and enjoy their company.
In this regard, on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China, visitors of the Qatar National Museum watched for an hour and a half an amazing performance by a Chinese Art Group.
The evening included a solo performance on traditional Chinese harp and a solo accordion performance, in addition to acrobatics, then a tenor solo, and concluded with a duet singing performance.
It is worth mentioning that this evening is a continuation of the success of the Cultural Year (Qatar-China 2016), where Doha has hosted more than 20 different cultural events of Chinese shows and exhibitions, in addition to joint artwork.
