Fashion enthusiasts are in for a treat as the 'Heya' Arabian Fashion Exhibition is ongoing right now. Heya is an annual exhibition that provides upcoming local and international fashion designers with a platform to showcase their work and encourage people in the industry and beyond!

What are the activities aside from shopping at Heya 2021 — Fashion enthusiasts are in for a treat at the 'Heya' Arabian Fashion Exhibition!

The 18th edition of the 'Heya' Arabian Fashion Exhibition is organized by Qatar Tourism & Qatar Business Events Corporation (QBEC) under the slogan “Ignite”. The exhibition was inaugurated by H.E. Chairman of Qatar Tourism and Qatar Airways Group Chief Executive Akbar Al Baker, in the presence of various dignitaries, guests and exhibitors on 12 December 2021.

H.E. Akbar Al Baker said,

"Qatar Tourism is pleased to launch the eighteenth edition of Heya, which welcomes talented designers from across the country and region to showcase their one-of-a-kind products and fashion lines. This world-class exhibition is an important part of Qatar's calendar of events, bringing together thousands of women to witness exclusive collections and the latest fashion innovation. I am confident visitors and residents alike will discover anew our authentic tourism experiences and Service Excellence in Qatar."

A host of activities at Heya 2021

Fashion Shows

Exciting fashion shows are lined up for you by Haifa Alangary, Qatar Tourism, Instituto Di Burgo Qatar IMBQ, AlHosh Gallery, VCUArts Qatar Faculty with Yang Soon Ju & Sonali Raman, VCUArts Qatar Alumni with Lauren Michele Morelle, Rabab Abdulllah & Noor Aburish.

Live Music

A live jazz band is all set to mesmerize the audience from 6:30 pm to 9 pm on 13 and 15 December 2021.

Talk Shows

Talk shows at Heya this year will focus on topics like fashion, women empowerment, brand building, social media's impact etc. They are as follows:

The Charity Day for the 18th edition of the 'Heya' Arabian Fashion Exhibition is all set to be held on Friday, 17 December 2021.

Partnering with AlHosh Gallery

For the first time this year, Heya is partnering with AlHosh Gallery in Msheireb Downtown, where the work of local artists will be showcased. Heya's aim is to strengthen Qatar's position as a major retail destination and center for fashion innovation. Get ready to check it out too!
