The Ministry of Administrative Development, Labour & Social Affairs (MADSLA) on 24 May 2021, launched the first phase of the Unified Platform for Complaints & Whistleblowers. Through the electronic platform, citizens, expatriates, and establishments can file a complaint against entities subject to the provisions of Qatar Labour Law No. 14 of 2004 and the Domestic Workers Law promulgated by Law No. 15 of 2017 or the entities that the Ministry of Administrative Development, Labour and Social Affairs regulates their business.
Let’s take a look at the step-by-step process of how you can file a complaint online!

MADLSA’s Unified Platform for Complaints and Whistleblowers allows one to file complaints in two ways.
One option allows employees and workers in the private sector in the country, as well as domestic workers, to file complaints as individuals.
The second option allows citizens and residents in Qatar to file whistleblower* complaints on general violations of the labour law.
*A whistleblower usually refers to a person who informs people in authority or the public that the company they work for is doing something wrong or illegal. (Oxford Learners Dictionaries)
