Trains run approximately every 5 minutes.
The last recommended interchange at Msheireb station is at 11:25 pm (Sun-Wed) and 12:25 am (Thu - Fri)
Note: Station doors will close at 11:59 pm from Saturday to Wednesday and at 1 am on Thursday & Friday.
The travel time from Lusail QNB station to Al Wakra station is at least 37 minutes, while Lusail to Hamad International Airport is at least 36 minutes.
Hamad International Airport to Al Wakra takes at least 13 minutes, and vice-versa.
From Msheireb station, it takes at least 15 minutes to get to Al Wakra while at least 14 minutes to get to Hamad International Airport.
Gold Line
The travel time from Al Aziziyah to Ras Bu Abboud takes at least 20 minutes. Msheireb to Al Aziziyah takes at least 13 minutes, while it takes at least 7 minutes to reach Ras Bu Abboud.
Green Line
The travel time from Al Riffa to Al Mansoura takes at least 26 minutes and vice versa. Msheireb to Al Mansoura is only 3 minutes, while it takes at least 23 minutes to reach Al Riffa Mall of Qatar.
Doha Metro carriages and prices
There are three carriages on each Doha Metro:
Standard carriage - QR 2, designated for all commuters.
Family - QR 2, designated for families, ladies, pregnant women, and persons with disabilities.
Gold Club - QR 10, located at the front of the train with enhanced seating areas.
World Cup: From 10 November - 23 December 2022, ticketholders can use their digital Hayya Card and the Hayya to Qatar 2022 app, available for iOS and Android, for free travel on the metro.
Doha Metro Card options
Standard Doha Metro Card- You can purchase this for QR 10 with the amount consumable for Standard and Family carriages.
Gold Pass- The Gold Pass is QR 30 and will allow Gold Club access and unlimited journeys for the day it was purchased.
World Cup: The Doha Metro & Lusail Tram announced on 6 November 2022 that from 11 November to 22 December 2022, all carriages will be Standard Class in order to increase train capacity during the World Cup period.
You may purchase or top up the Doha Metro cards at the information booths or electronic machines at every Doha Metro Station.
The Metrolink is a feeder bus network that provides first and last-mile connectivity to Doha Metro customers so they can travel within a 2 - 5 kilometer radius of the Doha Metro stations FREE of charge.
The operating hours for the metrolink are:
Saturday - Wednesday: 6 am - 11 pm
Thursday: 6 am - 11:59 pm
Friday: 2 pm - 11:59 pm
As of February 2022, the current Metrolink routes and the schedule for the last bus. Metrolink runs every 12 minutes except during non-peak hours at Free Zone Station. Maps are available at Metro station entrances, the Qatar Rail website, and the Qatar Rail App. You can also download the Karwa Bus App to track the buses in real-time.
The frequency of metrolink buses per stop is approximately 12 minutes.

metroexpress timings

The metroexpress is a free ride-sharing feeder service available for registered Metro passengers and can only be used in conjunction with a metro journey to connect specific service zones around the Doha Metro stations.
The metroexpress service uses a fleet of branded Mercedes Vito vans to seat seven passengers in each vehicle. It can also be requested on-demand, and customers can book a ride through the Karwa Taxi app.
