Renew your Istimara online (Metrash2 or MOI website)

Vehicle registration (Istimara) renewal can also be done electronically through Metrash2 and the MoI website. This service enables vehicle owners to complete vehicle registration renewal electronically and get the card delivered at the given address or collect them from any Traffic service center.

Once the technical inspection is completed successfully and insurance of the vehicle is issued, you have to log into Metrash2 or MOI e-services portal and select Traffic Services then choose Vehicle Registration Renewal from the listed services.

All types of vehicles including private, government, and companies can be renewed using this service and it is a 24/7 service. The vehicle-registration renewal fee can be paid electronically using a credit card for individuals and direct debit from a bank account for companies.

Then you have to provide the vehicle plate number, choose the correct type of registration, and then confirm the details provided.

The service came as part of the strategy of the Ministry of the Interior to develop its services through its various departments and Qatar National Vision 2030 and its digital vision 2020, which aims to facilitate and simplify the procedures related to the service of citizens and residents.
