But soon, there'll be more competition for these shopping complexes as new one-stop-shop destinations emerge in the country. Recently opened, Msheireb Galleria offers a new shopping experience to the local community. Spanning four levels, it will have a supermarket (Monoprix), retail shops, dining outlets, and various leisure offerings in the coming months. Currently, some of the brands open at Galleria are So Souffle, N3 Espresso Bar, Cue, Super Poke Bowl, Oakberry Acai Bowls, L’Aleka, The Guilt Free Company, Fallini, Spaceship Qatar, Pida Beauty, Myriad Beauty, Hot cup & more, Concepto Leather Goods, buco, Qiyorro, and more!
Set to open soon this year, J-Mall will have a hypermarket, food court, restaurants & cafes, as well as leisure facilities like bowling and gym aside from its fashion stores where you'll be able to shop until you drop. The mall is located near Al Khafji street.
Location: J-Mall Qatar
Set to be opening at the end of 2021, 04 Mall will have 3 floors, a hypermarket, retail stores, dining outlets, and a gym. It will be the newest community destination for residents of The Pearl-Qatar and visitors to the area.
Location: La Plage South, The Pearl Qatar
Located north of Doha, the North Gate Mall will be a destination for shopping, dining, and entertainment. The mixed-use development will also be the home of five-level office buildings. The property will include unique spaces such as Market Street (indoor/outdoor dining), the Crystal Garden, and Shamal Hall with its unique architectural features.
There is no news when this mall will officially open although currently there are dining outlets already open on Market Street like His Majesty Coffee, Yoza, and Awa Artisan Coffee. Al Emadi Hospital also opened a clinic in North Gate Mall in 2019.

Located in the south of Doha, the Doha Mall will be a one-stop-shop destination featuring over 200 retail stores, cinema, bowling center, family entertainment center, food & beverage options, and a natural skylight.
Location: Abu Hamour
Waddan Mall in Mesaieed will be catering to the population in the south. There is not much known about this mall or when it'll open but according to its Facebook page, the mall is open for leasing and will have a hypermarket inside.
Location: Mesaieed, Qatar
Located in the heart of Lusail City, Place Vendôme is said to be opening later this 2021. It'll feature a canal running to the sea which will give visitors an open plaza experience overlooking the waters. The mixed-use development project will echo the high-end shopping street in Paris, Rue de la Paix. Across four floors, there'll be up to 600 retail outlets including luxury designer stores. It'll also host a wide range of dining options, a hypermarket, lively dancing fountain, family entertainment, and a cinema complex.

Within the mixed-use development of The Doha Oasis is a premium retail component called The Doha Oasis Boutique. It's set to open in 2022, in time for the FIFA World Cup 2022 and will feature high-end shopping options. The Doha Oasis project also includes a Themed Experience Center, a spa, Banyan Tree Doha (one of the newest luxury hotels in Doha), a cinema complex with VIP theaters, restaurants, and a high-tech business center.
