The Banyan Tree Doha At La Cigale Mushaireb showcases modern design with sleek lines and the use of steel panels all around it. At night, you will see the outer panels of this property come alive in bright LED lights. The property is oval-shaped and you will see two tall structures sticking out at the center of it.
Beneath the central space of the hotel is the indoor theme park - Doha Quest. The two, tall, pointy structures contain the world's tallest indoor rollercoaster and a drop tower as part of the theme park's attractions.
The Iconic 2022 Building consists of 4 rectangular blocks and each block projects the numbers 2, 0, 2, 2 respectively on the front side of the buildings. It is absolutely stunning to look at. This is a mix-use building and consists of commercial and administrative offices, a huge supermarket, restaurants, cafes, and more. Have you seen this building in Qatar yet?
Cubes Tower, also called the Waterfront Hotel and Apartments, is a 22-story residential building giving people awe-inspiring views of Lusail City and the Gulf waters. The shape of the building is designed in such a way that it looks like cubes and rectangles are sticking out of it. The property also gives its residents access to the beach from here. How cool does this look?!
The design of the Education City mosque combines modernity with Islamic tradition. It is designed by Iraqi architect and calligrapher Taha al-Hiti. The calligraphy-covered minarets take a unique shape where they sweep upwards, pointing towards the sky. As per Visit Qatar, the mosque is supported by five pillars, each representing one of Islam’s pillars: Shahada (profession of faith), Salah (prayer), Zakat (giving alms), Sawm (fasting), and Hajj (pilgrimage).

Sidra Medical and Research Center boasts a modern structure made of steel, glass, and white ceramic tiles. Designed by architect Cesar Pelli, the design of Sidra Medicine is anchored by three towering structures that represent the sails of a ship/boat. The gardens around the hospital are filled with greenery and the tall glass panels fill-up the atrium spaces with bright natural light. What are your thoughts on the design of this building in Qatar?
You definitely can't miss this blue mosque on your way to the airport. This is one of the architectural highlights of Hamad International Airport. The gleaming-blue exterior of this mosque represents a water droplet and it is covered by a glass dome. The structure is illuminated in LEDs during the night and you can find Arabic calligraphy inscriptions on the inside. Have you visited this beautiful mosque before?
Located at The Pearl-Qatar, the Al Mutahidah Towers is one of the newest properties there. You can spot this gigantic structure along the Viva Bahriya Towers at The Pearl. The towers almost form a frame-like structure, overlooking the Arabian Sea. This residential property boasts indoor and outdoor pools, a gym, etc, for its residents. Have you seen this in Qatar yet?
Qatar Navigation Tower almost looks like it’s from the future. It is supposed to resemble a sail and has an imposing structure with a sleek design and sharp edges. It is brilliant to look at both during the day and night time. It currently contains many government and commercial offices. It is also the Silver Design Award winner in the 2012-2013 Architecture, Building, and Structure Design Award Category, as per A' Design Award.
You can already guess by the name that this building literally looks like an eye. The exterior of this building consists of gold & blue panels and it instantly captures your attention as you drive along the intersection of Jawaan Street and Al Saad Street in Doha. Standing tall amongst the skyscrapers of West Bay is the Burj Al Mana building. It overlooks the iconic Corniche of Doha. The project is currently under construction and resembles a sharp object that is piercing through the sky. The outer façade is made up of symmetrical triangles that are made of glass and aluminium.
