It’s true. ‘Another World’ opened on 25 July 2019 at the Kids Zone within the Mall of Qatar and provides people in Qatar of all ages, a unique experience and a number of surprises that will leave you stunned!
Let’s tell you more about ‘Another World’ and why it’s becoming as popular as it is.
Want to know more about Qatar’s heritage and lifestyle, but with a unique twist? You’ll have to experience it in an inverted Qatari style house. Everything in this inverted house is, of course, inverted with you standing on the ceiling, rather than the floor, and all the furniture above you on the ceiling. You’ll get to experience what a Qatari house was like in simpler times, through the rooms which are made up of the bedroom, majlis for men and for women and a courtyard. It’s a difference experience all together when you see everything reversed and it’s a treat for you all, no matter how young or old!
Another unique and innovative thing you won’t find anywhere else in Qatar or in the Middle East region is the digital aquarium which makes your kids drawings come to life. Sounds interesting, right?
Your kids get to draw and colour a drawing of their choice, then get it scanned by a special scanner. Your kids will then be able to see their colourful drawings coming alive right in front of their eyes inside the digital aquarium though an interactive electronic drawing system. Your kids will love this fun activity that combines entertainment and education, and be thrilled when they see what they drew and coloured come to life.
There are a number of awesome selfie and photo spots at ‘Another World’. What better place to have your selfie/photographs taken than at the unique inverted house where you can show off the Qatari lifestyle and heritage to friends and family. You can also take selfies/photographs in front of the crazy mirrors and screens with snapchat filters that are located in the corridors with the photo printers.

From time to time, for example, during the Eid holidays, Another World holds workshops for kids where they can develop new mathematical and intellectual skills through different activities and developmental games.
