One of the biggest malls in Qatar, the Mall of Qatar, has been more accessible to mall-goers thanks to the Doha Metro (Al Riffa Station). Spanning a massive 500,000 sqm, the mall features hundreds of outlets (from affordable to luxury) as well as a plethora of dining options. The mall is also located near Al Rayyan Stadium, one of the eight stadiums that will host the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™.
If you haven't been to MOQ as it's fondly called, we've put together a list of some of the things for you to check out!
With its four towering green pillars, the 'Oasis' is the Mall of Qatar's piece de resistance. At the center is a 360-degree revolving stage surrounded by interactive fountains where entertainment programs are held. Located at the heart of the mall, the Oasis is covered by a glass dome that fills the entertainment area with light during the day. There are also giant screens hoisted above the stage and a 4.5m waterfall.
Mall of Qatar's Pick and Choose Festival is currently running until January 14, 2021. Pick and Choose is the biggest shop and win festival in Qatar, allowing customers to win twenty fascinating cars during the festival months.

Scattered around the mall are larger than life light installations you can take a selfie with. There's a floating woman's shoe (the Shoe), a football, Bow Ties, Golden Rings, Wall of Egrets, and Pins. See if you can spot them all! There are also a number of fountains inside and outside the mall.

The world's oldest toy store currently has its only branch in Qatar inside Mall of Qatar. Children of all ages (even adults) will be amazed at the seemingly endless choices at "The Finest Toy Shop in the World." From traditional toys to unusual merchandise, Hamleys has it all.
Nearby are other kids' attractions like KidzMondo and Xtremeland, although currently both are closed due to covid-19 restrictions.
Baladna, the Qatari company known for its dairy products expanded its brand to a farm-to-table restaurant. It serves traditional Arabic dishes with ingredients sourced from its own meat farm and dairy factory. Diners can try their breakfast, appetizers, soups, manakeesh, saj, sandwiches, main dishes, rice clay pots, desserts, and beverages.
Want to have your own personalized stuff toy? Head to Build-A-Bear Workshop! Also up for grabs are stuffed animals, Disney characters, children's clothing, accessories, and Disney exclusives.
You definitely won't miss Kane Mochi when you walk by it for its pastel pink theme will surely stop you in your tracks. It serves Japanese mochi ice cream in different flavors as well as a variety of coffee, mojito, and bubble tea. This food outlet will definitely make you say, Kawaii!
A Japanese retail store known for its wide range of products at affordable prices, Daiso also has a branch at Mall of Qatar. The "Japanese dollar store" has more than 5,000 stores worldwide. Shoppers can choose from household products as well as stationery, toys, hardware, electronic, seasonal items, gifts, health & beauty, food, and kitchen products.
Right across Godiva is the recently opened Lily House Cafe, a pink and coffee lovers' dream. They serve hot drinks, iced coffee, mojitos, fresh juices, breakfast, afternoon tea, and dessert. Try Lily's Signature Latte and Lily's Tiramisu.
Love watching movies at the cinema? You'll be delighted to know that MOQ is "home to the largest IMAX With Laser screen in the MENA region." Novo at MOQ has 19 screens and movie-goers can treat themselves to MX4D where you can experience motion and effects straight from your theatre seat. Those looking for VIP treatment can opt for the 7-star or the Majlis for a truly elevated cinema experience. You'll have access to a private lounge, a butler, and a gourmet dining menu!
Directly connected to the mall is a 5-star property and the "first Curio Collection by Hilton in the Middle East." With 201 rooms, the hotel facilities include 3 outdoor swimming pools, wellness areas, and dining options.
Opened in 2017, the second branch of Syrian American Medical Center located inside the mall provides medical services which include ENT, Internal Medicine, Dental, Pediatric, Cardiology, Opthalmology, Neurology, Gynecology and Obstetric. Those looking for dermatological treatments and cosmetic procedures can come here.
