In an Instagram post, the official account of Place Vendôme has announced the opening of the mall on 15 April 2022.

Place Vendôme, strategically located within the very heart of Qatar's emerging Lusail City, aims to become the new centre of attraction for residents and visitors, especially since it's a combination of varied entertainment and retail choices in one place. Since it's placed on Lusail's seafront, Place Vendôme will also feature a canal running through it directly from the sea, making for a gorgeous open plaza experience with cafes and restaurants overlooking the water.
This multi-billion Qatari Riyal mixed-use development project of United Developers that's currently underway broke ground on 17 March 2014 and is slated for its grand opening in September 2021.
The Parisian-inspired development will be reminiscent of the famous high-end shopping street in Paris, Rue de la Paix, which starts with Place Vendôme. The architecture is intended to radiate luxury and extravagance while conveying a touch of cultural and artistic feel, setting the tone for a unique shopping experience in Qatar.

The mall in Place Vendôme is spread across four floors with beautiful, elaborate interiors and something new to offer at every level. Music 'n light fountain: The central feature of the canal will be a lively dancing fountain that's complemented by laser displays for a spectacular show of music and lights.
Family entertainment centre: featuring a variety of rides and activities, the park will be brimming with different entertainment options to keep the young and the old, busy and engaged,
Cinema complex: A multi-plex will showcase the latest movies on offer in different languages to cater to audiences of different countries, so no one feels left out!
The 1,000,000m² development will host two five-star luxury hotels, Le Royal Meridien and Palais Vendôme, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Le Royal Meridien Residences. The hotels and residences will be operated by Starwood Hotels and Resorts, part of Marriott International, and are all set to deliver a luxurious and authentic experience that aligns with the Place Vendôme brand.
Lusail City will be connected to Doha by road, rail, and water. Transport options include the Lusail expressway, the Doha Metro System, bus, water taxis and limousine services. In addition, there will be an extensive bike and pedestrian network.
