The children's play area will welcome you upon entrance. The playground occupies a big part of the park, which consists of a number of slides, climbing paths, monkey bars, and a mini toy ride. The play area is well-shaded to protect children from direct sunlight, especially during summertime. Toilets are located near the play area.
Besides a lineup of palm trees near the entrance, you will find dozens of huge, beautiful trees inside the Ain Khaled Family Park. And when you feel like taking a break from walking or jogging, you can rest under the shade of the trees. Also, there is one gazebo and a couple of wooden benches within the park.
The Ain Khaled Family Park has a full-size playing court that is divided into half-court for basketball and another half for football.
This is a great spot to practice your ball skills, however, at present, the playing court is closed till further notice as a COVID-19 precautionary measure.
Whether it's a morning jog or an evening walk, the pathway inside the Ain Khaled Family Park is a favourite amongst visitors of this place. The track is well-lit at night so you can take pleasure in nature's beauty all around you at any time while burning some calories!
This extra space is reserved for the gathering of a limited number of people for certain events. However, prior approval from the municipality is required if you wish to celebrate an occasion inside the park. Ask the security officer on duty for details. Also, small children can play ball in this area granted that the ball is soft and light.
