What to check out at Ain Khaled Family Park

Located in a quiet residential area, Ain Khaled Family Park is a perfect place for families who want to spend some relaxing time either by taking a walk, watching children play, reading a book, enjoying the fresh air, or simply admiring this park’s beauty.

  • Continuing to allow gatherings or sitting in public parks, beaches and the Corniche with a maximum of (30) people or family members residing in the same house.
  • It is allowed to practice individual sports such as walking, running and cycling, and allowing the opening of playgrounds and sports equipment in these places.
  • Allow the opening of toilets in parks specified by the Ministry of Municipality.

    The Ain Khaled Family Park has only one entrance gate, which is facing a mosque and parking spaces. The gate opens as early as five in the morning for visitors who walk or jog inside the park.

    The children's play area will welcome you upon entrance. The playground occupies a big part of the park, which consists of a number of slides, climbing paths, monkey bars, and a mini toy ride. The play area is well-shaded to protect children from direct sunlight, especially during summertime. Toilets are located near the play area.

    Besides a lineup of palm trees near the entrance, you will find dozens of huge, beautiful trees inside the Ain Khaled Family Park. And when you feel like taking a break from walking or jogging, you can rest under the shade of the trees. Also, there is one gazebo and a couple of wooden benches within the park.

    This extra space is reserved for the gathering of a limited number of people for certain events. However, prior approval from the municipality is required if you wish to celebrate an occasion inside the park. Ask the security officer on duty for details. Also, small children can play ball in this area granted that the ball is soft and light.

    • Playing football is allowed only in the designated places and the ball should be light for children under 10 years old.
    • Children are not allowed from entering the park without their parents' watch.
    • No pets are allowed inside the park.
    • Campfire, barbeque, crackers and fireworks are not allowed.
    • Selling things is not allowed inside the park without municipality approval.
    • Bicycles, roller skates and scooters are not allowed inside the park.
    • Men are not allowed without their families.
    • Celebrations or events are not allowed without municipality approval.
    • Littering, picking of flowers/damaging of plants and facilities are not allowed.
