Al Bidda Park is perfect for pet owners and those who plan to barbeque, while Dahl Al Hamam Park is popular with skateboarders and for its free WiFi. Meanwhile, Aspire Park is popular for its man-made lake where kids and adults can indulge in water activities like pedal boating, walking ball, kayaking, paddleboarding, and water yoga.

The kids will love rolling around in the sand. Some beaches on our list even have playgrounds! Pack a picnic and make a day of it. But don’t forget to bring home your trash or dispose of it properly!

Winter is indeed the perfect time to camp out in the desert. You can go the do-it-yourself route if you have the necessary vehicle and equipment, or you can select from a variety of tour operators to assist with day, night, or overnight camping options. We recommend enjoying a beautiful desert sunset followed by tasty barbeque dinner at night, before finally retiring to a Bedouin-style tent.
Don’t forget these important safety tips to remember for winter camping.
If camping is not your cup of tea, there are plenty of other desert activities that you can enjoy in this cooler weather like ATV or Quad bike rides, sandboarding, desert safari, dune bashing, and a trip to Inland Sea.
