You can get a street light or street lights installed by submitting a request to the Roads Operations and Maintenance Department of the Assets Affairs at the Public Works Authority 'Ashghal'. This request can be sent by individuals, companies and government entities.

  • The first step is to log in to Ashghal Customer Zone Web Portal, then click on 'Apply'.
  • The next step is to fill out the online form entering all the required information and click on 'Submit'.

  • Official letter or cover letter:
    The official letter (cover letter) needs to be addressed to the department manager in Ashghal for the request to be taken into consideration. The related location details and the reasoning as to why a street light needs to be installed must also be mentioned.
  • Signed Service Request Form in the relevant section.
