Did you know that in Qatar you can request a parking permit for persons with disabilities? This request can be submitted by an individual on behalf of the disabled person as well. It has to be submitted to the General Directorate of Traffic at the Ministry of Interior (MOI) to take advantage of the parking lots allocated for persons with disabilities and get authorized permits for those parking spaces.

You can also renew, update the permits or resubmit the application, in case it gets rejected when applied. Let's see the step-wise procedure for the same.

What are the online instructions?

• The first step is to Log in with your smartcard to MOI e-services portal.

• Next, select “Traffic Services” and then click on "Vehicles".

• The next step is to click on “Disability Parking”.
• Here you can submit a permit request for yourself or a relative by entering their QID number and fill the required information.
• The next step is to attach the medical test result and medical certificate.

What is the additional information?

• You need to own a smart card to apply for this service online.
• This service can be obtained at any time.
  
• This service can also be obtained via Metrash2 App, it is a similar process as above.
