Al Karrarah is a desert paradise for off-road bikers in Qatar. Because of its far location, it is not frequented but is worth the travel. It is a vast open desert space with spots of greenery. There is much to explore and be one with nature.
This is one of the newest cycling sites in Qatar, established by the Filipino Mountain Biker Community. It is located near the Barwa City neighbourhood complex and features a rough road track with slopes for an adrenaline-pumping experience closer to home.
The 33 km Olympic Cycling Track holds the Guinness World Record as the longest continuous cycle path. It features 5 bridges and 29 underpasses to ensure non-stop riding.
Al Khor is located on the northeast coast of Qatar, around 60 kilometres from Doha. Extreme bikers prefer this 5 to 7 kilometres trail because of its unpredictability.
The terrains are tough to navigate. The deserted roads give a challenging feel for bikers who want speed. You must be precise here in your every turn because of the limited space in some parts of the desert. One wrong move could spell disaster. That's why professional expertise is highly recommended when navigating this trail.
There are many bike trails in Qatar, but this is one of the highly recommended ones if you like extreme adventures. This trail is technical and difficult to navigate. You might need a special skill to jump over the ramps and other structures on the trail. The terrain is unstable with rock formations.
The Singing Sand Dunes offer terrain up to over 50m high dunes, thrilling cliffs, valleys, vast open terrain, caves, and much more for an exciting cycling adventure on your XC or fat bike. Featuring a steep, long descent, conquering the dunes on your fat bike will truly be an exciting adventure.
However, only highly experienced cyclers are recommended to ride on this site.
If you're looking for a more extreme cycling experience without travelling too far, the Tribu Barwa Trail is one to check out! There are numerous man-made ramps and trails that cyclists can conquer and do tricks on.
If you're looking for beautiful views and extreme adventure, the Zekreet Peninsula should be on your list. This spot is popular for mountain bikers looking for a challenge.
