Podar Pearl School cares for the overall development of each child, making sure to develop personality, confidence, and potential along with academic excellence. They offer Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) of India curriculum.
AKIS caters primarily to the children of Qatargas employees. The co-educational and non-selective school is located in Al Khor Community and has over 4,000 students across 5 buildings. AKIS offers the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) of India curriculum to children from 3 to 18 years of age.
Bhavan's Public School is part of Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan which has over 400 schools in India and 10 international schools including GCC. The school follows the CBSE curriculum.
Founded in 2004 in Qatar, BPS is the fulfillment of Mr. Basant Kumar Birla & Dr. (Mrs.) Sarala Birla's wish to serve Indians abroad. According to its website, "The school at present has more than 6,800 students on its roll and provides state-of-the-art facilities – well-equipped laboratories, a vast library, classrooms with interactive whiteboards, a swimming pool, auditorium, an open-air theatre, canteens, sports and games facilities and a fleet of 167 buses, of which 81 are school owned."
Brilliant Indian International School offers to provide value-based education in a stress-free environment to Indian students in Qatar. "The school utilizes innovative methods of teaching for a child-centered holistic learning, paying particular attention to the development of the whole person: spiritually, morally, culturally, academically, aesthetically and physically."
Part of the Taleb Group of Schools, DMIS follows the Indian curriculum with almost 2,000 students. According to its website, it's the first Indian school to be awarded a “Qatar National School Accreditation (QNSA)” for 5 years.
Established in 2001, DPS Modern Indian School, "The School with a Difference", has helped its students excel in academics, extra-curricular activities, and sports resulting in well-rounded personalities. The school has many facilities available which include a state-of-the-art auditorium, Olympic size swimming pool, sports facilities, IT infrastructure, laboratories, an art room, dance & music room, and more.
Delivering child-centric, value-based, and technology-driven learning, DPS Monarch International School is the second campus of DPS MIS (Delhi Public School – Modern Indian School) in Qatar. According to the school, it has partnered with IYC World in India and in Qatar to provide digital curriculum, e-books, and the best IT solutions for its students, teachers, and parents.
According to its website, the school is "committed to holistic education where the stress is on researched activity and application-based learning." It aims to empower children to learn for life and community life is at the core of its values.
‘Educate for Eternity' is the school's motto. According to the Director of Greenwood Group of Institutions, the students are the school's main focus. They develop not only the children's academics but also their discipline, personality, social sensitivity, and make sure they're imbibed with the traditional values and culture of India.
The school started with 135 students in 1982 and has since grown to over 4,500 students making it one of the largest educational institutions. "The school comprises of a house system, where each student, is affiliated with a particular house, named after famous personalities in Indian & world history," according to its website.
"LISD aims to provide holistic education with comprehensive facilities to develop the child’s overall personality. According to its website, the M.E.S. Indian School was the first in Qatar to introduce e-learning for all classes. Since its establishment in 1974, the school has since then been one of the well-known Indian educational institutions in the country.

Rajagiri Public School is the joint venture of the Rajagiri Group of Educational Institutions, Kochi, Kerala, and Al Kaabi Contracting and Trading Company in Qatar. Established in 2014, the school encourages children to channel their potential in an atmosphere for multifaceted development.
